Arriving home in the village of Scorton it's easy to see why am so many people call here Home, perfect Village Green scattered with friendly pubs and a half of the community shop, topped up with nurseries for your children in this village really does have it all.
For the first time in 150 years this home has moved into the care of your family. The extensive space inside is such a surprise you can understand just how it has stayed with the same family for so long.
Cross the village green and make your way inside, along the path and through the front door into you snug living room with the woodburning stove fired up ready to welcome you home. You enjoy the views to the front as you watch the Village come to life. Carry on through and take a left turn into the other reception room at the front, maybe a second living room or a formal dining room. You can imagine gathering your nearest and dearest in here for a family feast and some well deserved time together, big enough to accommodate the most comprehensive of family groups and full of original features that all the way through this house given nod to the history that comes along with it.
Back out here and into the kitchen breakfast room with space for a table so that you can sit and enjoy food together on a busy morning, or maybe you just want company whilst you're baking either way it's a nice place to sit and chat. With plenty of room to store all your kitchen essentials and with a double oven range style for the most serious of Home cooks. Beyond this door you will find neatly tucked away the utility room, and full-size shower room and guest WC. Back to the original hallway and we take a right and we find another reception room, maybe a playroom maybe a space to grab some quiet time and a good book. With double French doors that lead out to a conservatory that spans the back of the house and enjoys views across your expanse of outside space.
Back into this reception room and we take the door through which takes you to a pantry on the right and beyond into the back of the unconverted cottage currently your tool shed but with the choice to be whatever you need, reinstated to a cottage / annexe or even a holiday let.
When it's time for bed where we hide you can head upstairs and, once on the landing head straight to the back corner and into the biggest of the four bedrooms. With views out across the village green it is a delightful place to start your day and with a built-in cupboard already has some preparation for the potential to become an ensuite there is lots of changes you can make care.
Bedroom two is next door and another big double, this time with views out to the back garden and across the land that comes with this house. With plenty of room for your big comfy bed and matching furniture. Across the hallway there are two further bedrooms both generous sized and one with views to the front and one with views to the back they give a great offering to a family home.
Completing the first floor is the family bathroom with a convenient walk-in shower for when you have a bit more time you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the bath, light a candle and fill with bubbles and you're all set.
