I’d like to tell you a little bit about me and how I came to be here, how my back ground can benefit you, and get you to where you want to be. Following several years of experience in two of the largest corporate banks I was one of the youngest qualified financial advisors there, aged just 20, I aspired to keep pushing limits as I still do today. It was latterly after I had branched out as an independent financial advisor that I discovered estate agency and this sparked a passion in me to offer a new, service focused proposition in this very traditional industry. The skills I had developed over my high achieving career suited estate agency and easily transferred to create my new breed of estate agency, one that needed skill and training, not just in legislation but in getting exceptional results in the most practised way. The need we have to make a difference is seen throughout every connection in our business. For me this is not just a job, this is my life and my purpose is to get you the best results in the most efficient way possible.
I’ve been dedicated to the property industry for 28 years, an industry that I love. A career that started in sales but moved over to lettings, a job I find so rewarding, something I have a genuine passion for. I love developing relationships with landlords and Tenants, I get immense job satisfaction from the problem solving that undoubtedly comes at almost every stage. The daily challenge of keeping up with the 300+ parts legislation certainly keeps me on my toes! The letting industry ‘Property Mark’ qualifications are on going and I am currently studying at the highest level available after passing the lower and intermediate level awards, this ensures I am always ahead of my game. When I’m not working, I like spending time with my husband where possible (he is in the military so that’s not very often)! I have two dogs, Boris & Bertie who I enjoy walking with and have just discovered running (although its more like a shuffle). I was born and bred in the midlands (yes there is such a thing, not just North and South) but have been lucky with my husbands job to have worked in both the glorious South and the wonderous North, which I am privileged to now call home.
After a career in hospitality I know what makes good customer service and the skills I honed I have brought with me to the property management industry where that skill is lacking. I enjoy working with my landlords and tenants, some of who I would even class as friends. I dedicate my time to making their tenancies as smooth as possible and I look after every home as if it was my own. Getting things right is a passion I have and I spend my time educating myself and keeping up to date with legislative changes and working hard to make sure we get it right. Outside of work I am a mum to two delightful little girls who are my world and of course my dog, Luna.
